I left school at 14. My mother wanted me to get a regular job with an uncle who was in the city. And my father said, well, why don't you come with me? So I joined my father and we traveled all over the British Isles. For eight months I lived under canvas and in mud huts. It was just a great time to be there. When I was eighteen, of course, I had to do national service. so I went into the RAF as a photographer and made for two years and made some good friends here. Now when I came out at twenty, I thought I need to spread my wings a bit more and work with some different people
