The Perception of the World Beyond the Social World

The child sees the world as if it's personified. Only with great difficulty separates out the idea that, while there's an objective reality, that doesn't have a personality. The perception of the world as personality is primary for children. We developed the perceptual architecture to understand the social world and then built our understanding of the world beyond on top of that.
