The Feldenkrais method has advantages for people who can't mobilize their thinking process to help themselves at the beginning. The Alexander Technique is more dealing with the inner work of watching how my thinking works and my feeling and my movement patterns, how they all work together. In both disciplines, everyone wants to feel better and be healthy. But in the Alexander Technique we don't try to recreate the feeling. We're becoming aware that the feeling is based on old habit patterns.
