In 1990, there was the first conference in 30 years to bring together the Dutch reform beaters with these other churches. And each of the different faith communities realized some of the very significant central teachings about the worth of a human being. Many times, actually, it was quite exhilarating. It was fun. The God of surprises played his most extraordinary and incredible card.
