The GOP is basically just becoming a giant common section. I have this theory that the way to save the Republican party is, you know, I hate primaries. You're basically getting like nine or 10% of the electorate determining what each of the major parties does and thinks. The hardcore base of primary voters are often the people who actually hate their own party. They just hate the other party more.
