The Importance of Rich Rich's Talents
Rich correctly predicted that global demand for the element Mercury would spike. He bought as much Mercury as he could and sold it for a large profit when the price rose. But his talents didn't only consist of spotting money making opportunities. He also had an uncanny knack for being able to arrange complicated deals between multiple parties, such as with Israel and Iran in 1968.
