The Feeling of Notifications on Social Media

Twitter and social media feels like it's almost becoming the sort of stand in for taking any kind of real political action or fighting back. I think certain long running, um, news stories, like Black Lives Matter, not as a hashtag, but as being part of an ecosystem where people around me are outraged by the same type of news over and over. Like sitting around and complaining with your friends about the state of the world is not productive. It can help people connect some dots, maybe like form, form some ideas about things.
