The Impact of Teaching in the Classroom
Bryan caplin wrote a book called the case against education. He argues that education doesn't really have any provable, measurable effects on people's climateof abilities. Amik: I'm not at all convinced that what i do in the classroom has any clear cus effects on my students. But if i'm someboy re in carry, like what are you trying to like, what kind of metrics are you using for assessing the quality of your teaching there? Baeiley: It seems deeply andplausible to me. Like, it might be that, like we think it is impacting us in ways that it actually isn't - depending on how you define impact.
