The South Korean system doesn't measure how many years you've been alive for. Instead, it measures how much time you have been alive in. This means that a baby born on December 1st 2022 would be two years old in South Korea and just one month old in the rest of the world. To make matters even more confusing, even South Korea has used multiple measures of age for different purposes.
