The patient was treated with just fluconazol the headaches they were like pretty vague and they did have the the crack titer but they weren't concerned yet about CNS so it actually was actually I can understand before the CSF culture grew out why you just do fluke especially since 5 of C is not great for these low white counts and and amfo is really toxic. The WHO guidelines for cryptocalcomeninitis recognizing that amfo B is hard to get and hard to do all the monitoring also recommends high dose fluconazole without the if you must in a low and middle-income setting just do the 800 or even higher fluke dose thing.
