Gamsden: We don't catheterize them because you get them to come in and take go to the washroom or the bathroom and empty the bladder before you do your anesthesia, right? Unless it's a planned, big, long revision that we expected to be like four hours. There was a time when a part of our order set for the packy patients were after total drinks was straight-cath, the bladder, you know, at will. So that's why we didn't get, got away from catheterizing them in the OR. That rate is plummeted with the short-acting spinal. Gamsden: Why isn't local anesthetic infiltration good enough?
