Supreme Court Justices Turned Their Own Argument on Its Head

There was this notion that judges put aside the circumstances of their own installation on the they check any political loyalties or affinities they had at the door and approach it in the cool, level headed ways of the judiciary. Now we have en o two extremely radical judges appointed by donald trump sitting on the court. And i've even read just recently, in the last few days, that there was a tradition where justices before would almost deliberately go against the views of the president that mad appointed,. Almost deliberately to signal to the american public that the supreme court was not just another branch of politics but was somehow an more independent body.
