Automated Summarization - Is There a Framework?

With such a wide spectrum of different demands on automatic summarization needs, do you think there'll be one underlying method that does all these things well? That's a great question. Future will tell. I guess the interesting thing here is, i think it depends on what your output is going to be. But ye, that said, it also depends on your motivation. O you just want to solve the task and want to take the model that works best for your particular task at hent or do you rather want to solve it from a more kind of general o view?
