The traditional date for good friday is march 20 fifth, which at one point time was the spring equinox. The meeting of the lord or candlemist takes place half way between the winter solstice and the spring Equinox ice. In athikic paganism, they had these feasts on first February in celtic culture. And more or less, with certain variations, pretty much every culture in the world that lives within the same kind of climate cycle has the feast right around the same points in time.
