Deep Learning and Large Language Models

There seems to be an over emphasis on the promise of large language models. I do think deep learning still has some headroom, right? These large language models are certainly interesting, but they also highlight some of the shortcomings of modern AI. This includes the fact that they're not good at logical reasoning. They don't have common sense in this talk I saw the other day.
