Computer Science Is a Descendedant of Mathematics
Computer science as a discipline started in the 19 fifties, and it was started by mathematicians. The american mathematical society has never been above 20 % of women in its membership ever. Mathematics has never reckoned with its history of racism and sexism as a bias. One of the things that we can do in order to a combat this is we can have more divers teams of people working on technology.
