As an adult diagnosed, you more often have a reserve of betas after diagnosis that's a little bit larger than really young children or even kids or teens. The onset of type one is much more rapid and much more aggressive in very little kids who are diagnosed. And these people who are listening, very likely are not being handled a CGM right away either.
