"I went through this roll the decks of stories that the church had given me four times of difficulty and none of them mattered because none of them fit. Then there was Mary who just a day according to the gospel account you know went on this long journey while incredibly pregnant got to a place that wasn't ideal and kind of suddenly had a baby that they weren't prepared for," she says. "So that changed a lot about how I view myself how I view my son how I view what it means to be an embodied person."
