i follow the news a bit but not much like there's a lot of times when i don't have an opinion on this latest hot button issue because it's not worth my time to form an opinion. within each topic not just focusing on the things that are easiest to learn about um and then following the thing that is most likely to be exciting to your readers or the like pushes in favor of your thing being important. prioritization quantification chasing what's actually true rather than what's most exciting or appealing to your audience. reductionism analytical thinking all these things sort of can go quote unquote too far or wrong or something and there's good kernels of truth to the opposite.
