The book is above all else a project to quote visit as much destruction as possible upon one central libel that limits the livelihood of trans children. Where did this idea of the newness of trans childhood come from? And in what purpose has that served in the political fights over the legitimacy of trans existence in general and of trans children's existence in particular?
