Women's safety is also an issue when they're getting to and from their ride. Isla flags up a really simple sounding project that tries to improve things after women get off the bus. In countries like India, in cities like Hyderabad, where this is being implemented, women will have to walk a very small distance. So, stopping a bus when women request it to be stopped is a huge difference for women.
