The Hope of the Resurrection

The idea of the resurrection is a uniquely Old Testament and then Jewish idea. It means that there's hope for our world to be set right and made new. Jesus had a vision of the future that he talked about in many places. He describes it as the renewal of all things when the son of man, that's himself, sits on his glorious throne.
