The Problem With the Book of Enoch's Interpretation of the Messiah

In the book of parables, Enoch is taken into heaven where he is shown prophetic visions. R.H. Charles' 1912 translation has this verse identifying the son of man in the third person rather than in second person. Modern Enochic scholarship universally rejects Charles' translation of this passage. And so we have every reason to believe that the passage is claiming Enoch is the Messiah.
