The first eight issues of Sandman, which is like seven and then kind of an epilogue issue. This was collected when it was first issued as a trade paper back in 1991. Came out in hardback in 1995. It did just want to do like a top level plot summary in case we missed stuff or do things out of order. In 1916, a magician named Roderick Burgess attempts to summon death and instead traps death's brother Dream who is Morpheus.
