Monument Valley: The Future of Games

The success of Monument Valley validates some of my theories about how games are made and how we tell stories. The fact that the game was still successful means that we can do anything now. I want to stay here with this team longer and see where this adventure is going to take us. It's really a bit embarrassing and disappointing that when we go to these conferences almost all of the speakers are middle aged white men. Particularly females, I think we're making great progress here but there's still a hard battle trying to get gamers to understand that there's so much more than just mindless violence.
