The russians seem to have gone very slowly and then had this rapid setback er. It's a bunch of things, they're very hierarchical. The second thing is that russia's army is conscript armyt. So it's very hard to move from one style of army to the other. But an attritional army is always going to get disjointed and routed by a manoeuvre army of comparable sizesand really, in crane, the armies are of comparable sizes.
