The Paradox of Completeness and Incompleteness
In the experience of great joy, actually, CS Lewis, you mentioned CS Lewis, this is an observation he makes in a surprise by joy. If I'm in a state of neediness, it's harder for me to be open to the other because I can only think of the other in a certain sense in relation to my own needs. There's something deceptive about it because it's driven by need. And so you see, you see kind of existentially there, the paradox, it's the completeness that is more open to what's more and the incompleteness that is closed.
