The Prognosis of Waterline Personality Disorder

In general this is a disorder that has a relatively good prognosis in that it tends to improve with age. The idea behind how BPD develops is that people are born with a genetic risk for emotional instability or liability. Only about 60 percent of people do have good functioning when you look at follow-up 20 years later.
