What Does That Mean for Public Service Broadcasting?
I think there's a kind of shift in terms of what contents created and disseminated across these different platforms. That means that we're all broadcasters, as well as we're all audience members. I think it undermines the ethos of public service broadcasting. But also brings to four questions around, well, who gets to decide what gets broadcasted in the first place? The creation side of things. It really puts the onus more so in individuals to be able to do that sifting of what's truth, what's hypey, what real.
