I taught federal courts this semester, which in some ways is actually an even more pressure point class for this conversation. They want to know why are they being taught that the law is impartial when they can see with their own eyes that it's nakedly partisan? And I guess I have sort of a two part answer and you guys should grade it because I don't get graded enough. Although the Texas legislature is trying to change that. OK.
