Worker Co-Op Model Versus State Owned Enterprises
In reality, workers don't work at the same firm for their whole life or even necessarily long periods of time. The kind of co-op model where you are a worker owner of the firm you happen to be in really kind of frustrates that sort of mobility. And this actually reminds me of the Swedish situation because when the Swedes were gonna, with the Meidner plan, they were gonna do that on the sector level. So not worker co-ops in each firm but all the workers in each sector were gonna own all the firms in each sector. That makes a lot more sense if you're gonna do it non-governmentally.
