Is Steam a Good Idea for Longer Games?

For longer games that don't grab people right away, like, the completion rate drops off pretty fast. That might be one reason why some games, like goper like itch, or epoc ans in legstive, avoid steam entirely. valve needs to talk velopers about modifying return policies for games that are shorter. Definitely, it should be on a case by case basis.
