The Importance of a Relationship With God

I was wondering about that, you know, as you have spent decades of your life immersing yourself in medieval poetry. Do you feel like they kind of pulled you deeper into a relationship with God that you maybe from the outset didn't have or didn't have to that extent? The simple answer is yes. As much as it horrifies me to say, I have a relationship withGod because I don't know what the word, in English I don't knows what the word God means. But when I'm translating or reading these medieval poems in Arabic also, I believe those poems.
