Is There Something in Your Brother's Mind That Is Touched by Your Love?
The Course says that there's something in them unconscious that is touched by your love, whether or not they consciously express that gratitude. So on some level, you're grateful that you gave the gift. You're thanking yourself for having given the gift. And then it says, part of your brother's mind joins with yours in thanking you. There's something truly irresistible about love.
