How Time Travel Works in "Interstellar"

Alienating the Audience

CHAPTER

The Paradox of Time Dilation

Christopher Nolan wanted to keep astrophysicist Thorne in the film. The script is loosely based on a story that kept Thorne who's an astrophysicist, I believe he has written originally. In one of my favorite childhood movies, which is very 80s movie, is Flight of the Navigator where he's basically been kidnapped by a UFO and is returned. And it's a very charming, very, very fun movie. But this isn't even theoretical. We've proved this with atomic clocks at this point because it's affected as we'll come up in the film a lot.
