Introduction

When I first met him he wasn't Prince really. He was just starting. So when did you meet him? 1977. Before there was even a record. And then we met and he was like oh my god I've been following your career. You know I want to hire you. The conversation just went crazy like in the first five minutes, so I saw the beginning of who he was to become who he was. Sheila is so cool. She's a great musician and she's a woman who emits this sense of power. It was amazing to talk to her about music, about Prince and about some of the rougher parts of her childhood.
