The Becket Cook Show

CHAPTER

Perpetual Presentism

In a chapter, in the second chapter, you it's called perpetual novelty. So if the first problem is the too much information problem, perpetual novelty speaks to the too fast problem of how our digital age just moves faster than and wisdom would call us to move. Likei that perceptual presentism is just the inner nets orientation around the now - moving through what's trending now, what's buzzing now. And it ends up being a liability for wisdom, because wisdom is so much about a bigger picture view. Adwhat's going to get cliques and likes in the now. It's an unwise approach to the world.
