The butcher of Cardov, the warcaster chronicles volume two is by some guy named Dan Wells. The character of the butcher is a crazy maniac, overpowered, murderous, general. And in game terms, nobody really understands him and he's just horrible. Howard: I read this book and suddenly for the first time wanted to go out and buy this model so that I could have this guy because he was so sympathetic.
