Labour leader Keir Starmer said he was going for an outright majority in the next general election. But a year earlier, Mr Starmer told Bloomberg there would be no coalitions with anyone including the Lib Dems. Kia Boulden says this admission of falling short is part of Labour's strategy to win back support from Scottish voters who are unhappy with SMP leadership.
