Inpatient Mortality in Patients With Covet 19

A hybrid of natural immunity and vaccination associted imunity conferred additional protection against break through infection, as compared with vaccination associated immunity alone. The authors found that among patients with out of hospital or in hospital stemi, a concomitant diagnosis of covet 19 was significantly associated with higher rates of inhospital mortality than those without the disease. These findings showed alert physicians the higher mortality risk in patience with stemi who also have covet 19. In an accompanying editorial, faneroff and colleagues observe that possible explanations for the excess mortality may include delayed clinical presentations, higher incidents of carteogenic shock and cardiac arrest.
