How to Copy Photographs to Learn
There's a lot of artists who are artists that all they do is copy photographs. And some people might not like that, but other people do. So you just need to develop the ability to draw from imagination or instead of just blatantly copying this one tree, Google many trees and take pieces of it that you like and combine them in ways that you like. You can literally copy parts of trees, but now you got your own thing. As you do this, you'll start using reference less and less because you're learning how to make things in your head rather than just copying literally.
