The Lord's Spirit Is Going to Dwell Among His People

Joel is drawing on imagery that you and I have seen going all the way back to the beginning of the Old Testament. It looks like that gets fulfilled in Acts chapter two when the Holy Spirit shows up. The locust thing is really troubling as a metaphor for the forces of this world, even the forces of nature.
