Crowd sourced journalism is both an amazing thing and also a sad testament to our state of journalism. I do print and I do podcasts for iHeart Radio behind the bastards is like the big one so that's my regular job. It can cost hundreds of thousands of dollarsPretty easily for even just a single reporter in there for a couple of weeks you're freelancing and you're selling your stories to different media outlets or I don't have to do that anymore. They got acquired by a series of companies and that's the way things work, it's very expensive they usually want you to travel with security which kind of bollocks is everything up.
