The Watches at the Gate
There's this beautiful connection between your brain and your fingers in the keyboard that, you know, maybe it was a lucky accident that it happened with pianos and then typewriters. For me, the backspace is the is what the watches at the gate do. They're trying to stop the creative process by making you edit, edit. And I have to silence the watches in order for the for the magic to flow. Not that the magic flows ever. But there you go.
