Leibniz's Universal Logic

Leibniz also wanted something similar, he recognized similarities between algebra and logic too. And around the same time, there are other mathematicians who are interested in the same sorts of relations. There were various people like William Stanley Jevons took Boolean ideas and actually built a logic machine. You can see it in the Museum of the History of Science at Oxford.
