The greeks were not hugely interested in what we call technology. They did invent things, and there's some very interesting work done by adrian maya. So imagination is what creates the new,. How you then apply that imagi nation and those innovations to life was a very important question. The greeks could see that actually some innovations were very dangerous, and they didn't really feel they should be accepted. But they understood that others were very important.
