The Importance of Spiritual Direction
I've had moments where in a desolation where Jerry and I had too much going on or we weren't giving the kind of time investment our marriage needed. It's interesting even traveling and speaking externally, I do not pet it anymore but I would have such a desolation internally about getting on an airplane. And there was no logical reason for it. That's why there's a need for spiritual direction and companions to help us discern because our capacity for self-deception is so great. We're not islands. A person can sometimes be disobedient to God and feel great about it.
