Jeff the Mongoose

Jeff the Mongoose was a mysterious creature who lived on an isolated farm in Cachon's Gap, New Hampshire. He claimed to be not just a ghost but also had hands and feet that could turn anyone who looked upon it to stone. The family even produced clay casts of his teeth, claws, and footprints which were never matched with any known animal. But he wasn't always real - Claudia Irving noticed her horse Lady Wonder would type out answers when she asked her questions using wooden blocks. Some believe Jeff may have been more like a poltergeist; others think they suffered through a delusional episode.
