The History of Ice on Earth

Ice and water are what i call playmates on a seasaw. When you have ice on the continents during an ice age, you also have much lower sea levels. And in fact, the ocean level at the height of the last ice age was about 400 feet lower than it is to day. It exposed large swaths of the continental shelves, which provided pathways for humans to migrate from place to place or continent to continent. The bearing land bridge was certainly an important one.
