Steve Huffman and Alexis O'Hannion came up with the front page of Reddit in 2005. The site is now worth $1.8 billion, according to its most recent valuation. It's a discussion site filled entirely with user-generated content. In 2015 parts of the site were hijacked by trolls who used it to spread hateful messages.
